    A: Yes, the Happy Heiny's Pocket Trainer do seem to run a BIG. We suggest you size DOWN. If you think your child needs a large, we suggest purchasing the medium.

    Q: How Many Diapers?
    How many cloth diapers should I buy?

    A: This is a tricky question for anyone to answer. My first question back when I am asked this is. Are you new to cloth diapering. This is very important to us. WHY?

    If you are new to cloth diapering I suggest that you research the type of diaper that you would like to try, and then purchase 1 or 2 of the different styles or types until you find the one that works for you and your baby.

    What style and type of diaper I like, might not work for you, then you are out a bunch of money if you come in and purchased 12 of the kind I suggested. If you have a friend that has started you in cloth diapering, you are going to purchase what they have used at first. Then you find that there are more out there to try. I know this, because it happened with me.

    Another thing you should think about is, how often are you going to want to wash? It is suggested to have 8 to 10 pocket diapers for a newborn or 6 to 8 diaper covers. This should be about 1 days worth of diapers, this also depends on the output of your child. Some will be more and some will be less. As your child grows older the more diapers a day used will go down, or should once again depending on the output of your child.

    So if you are wanting to wash every other day, it is suggested to have 10 to 15, once again this will depend on the output of your child. I truly wish that I could give a straight solid answer to this question, but I can not do that because every child is different . I would say start out with 6 to 8 and see what your child's output is. It is easier to purchase more diapers if need, than to have to many and not use them.
