What is a prefold?

A prefold is a flat type diaper. A smaller version of what mom used when we were kids. Today''s prefolds are a lot different from what mom had.  All prefolds sold here at Cloth Diaper Central are DSQ or Diaper Service Quality. What does this mean to you? This means that you perfolds could stand up to commercial washing.

Prefolds come in many sizes and thickness. With Prefolds a cover will also be required.

What is a cover?

A cloth diaper cover can be made of just about any material with Aplix or snap closures. The diaper cover is made so that you can lay a prefold tri-folded inside, or you can use a cloth diaper cover OVER a fitted diaper.  A diaper cover "covers" the absorbent layer.
